About Sunrise Philadelphia
We are the Philadelphia hub of Sunrise Movement, a group of young people dedicated to stopping climate change and creating millions of good jobs in the process. Sunrise Movement Philly is comprised of members and volunteers who organize for a municipal Green New Deal in Philadelphia. We want to transform Philadelphians' lives by fighting for environmental justice and equity, and rid local politics of the corrupting influence of fossil fuels.
